Now showing at the Silverdale Fine Arts gallery
This month, as featured artist at the Silverdale Fine Arts gallery, I decided to go in a little different direction from my usual printing. I chose to print and frame all macro images. They are archival giclee printed on mouldmade cotton watercolor paper. It was a lot of work printing, matting, and framing forty-some images but I was pleased with my results and here they are as displayed this month.

The artist's reception was Friday and I think a good time was had by all visitors and refreshments were great. As I had gallery duty on Saturday, the reception was extended to all day Saturday too. Thank you to all who attended to show your support of my work.

Silverdale Fine Arts gallery GRAND OPENING
Silverdale Fine Arts gallery GRAND OPENING

Friday December 14, 2007 SILVERDALE FINE ARTS GRAND OPENING 6-8PM
(to coincide with the Silverdale Old Town Artwalk)

Silverdale Fine Arts
A Collective Gallery

Silverdale Fine Arts is a non-profit visual artist’s gallery located at 9020 Washington Ave. in Old Town Silverdale, WA (on the Kitsap Peninsula in Puget Sound). An artist collective is a group of individuals who share in the promotion, advancement and awareness of the arts. We offer support and encouragement to those interested in the arts. We provide an opportunity for members to display and sell their artwork. We participate equally in running a gallery as a business; working, serving on committees, sharing in the associated financial costs of leasing and maintaining a building & working together under our own management. We are also dedicated to serving & promoting our community through art & art education.

The Gallery has no paid staff. A small commission on each sale is reserved to fund the day to day needs of the gallery. Unique locally made art is therefore available at affordable prices for our clients. Our artists will continually bring in new work and all art is changed out for new work on a quarterly basis. We support the quarterly Old Town Silverdale Art Walks and look forward to initiating some seasonal, art centered, celebrations.

You are invited to visit our gallery Tuesdays through Saturdays. Please visit our website (www.silverdalefinearts.com) to see our artists, their art & to learn about special events throughout the year. Artists will be featured on a monthly basis with Second Fridays reserved for meeting the featured artist. Please visit often!

The artist owners are:
Fused Glass on Metal: Eileen Schneegas
Glass & Alabaster: Don Evans
Paint: Willo Huard, Patricia Huelle, Joyce Jordan
Photographer: Richard Badger, Ed Book, Paul Taylor
Pottery: Robert Izzi
