So beautiful! The color of the tree works so beautifully with the color of the water, and I love the fractal breakup of the background by the twisting branches. Thanks!
I was referring to the slightly darker brown patches along the top of the large branch in the center. It has this really pretty mottled texture between darker and lighter brown.
nope, not there either, the bark of this tree is smooth and moss can't cling. This bark produces chlorophyll to augment the leaves. It starts out green and goes toward reddish orange through the season and when I can't produce any more chlorophyll, it peels off to expose a new layer of green bark. Some of the bark will cling and go brown or lose color so that's probably what you are referring to.
calendar, yes, many years ago. so many markets, so little time...
Getting together a collection of images with the same theme and presenting it to publishers is time consuming and self publishing even more so and expensive.
...on the to do list of my business manager... who hasn't been hired yet...
I look for unusual angles and when I saw this tree on the bluff above the water with the water beyond, I knew I'd found a subject and then looked for my composition with the water vice sky beyond.
The other day I was in the bathroom washing my face off. I hadn't shaved for a week. I looked up in the mirror and I'll be damned if I didn't see you looking back at me!
Scared me!
You were the post master with your pictures today. Inspiring as usual.
