'still in the mountains, this is where I spent the last couple days in the rain... rainsuit, 'camera had one too... 'really would like a home cooked meal...

before here I spent a couple days south of Chinook Pass along the Pacific Crest Trail in the snow and before that, Bethel Ridge, and before that is fuzzy, I'll have to look at the images to see where I was.

I've heard plenty of elk bugling but the only that I saw were in Packwood at a gas station. They know where they won't get shot at. ...and traffic is light in Packwood.

I stopped tonight at the MTTA office to try to connect with home but the phone system isn't cooperating and I'm out of cell contact...
