Pea Island shipwreck
Pea Island shipwreck outer banks North Carolina (C)2004 Ed Book edbookphoto.com

I found the remains of this shipwreck in the dunes on Pea Island in North Carolina's outer banks... I couldn't find a composition I liked that didn't have footprints obscuring the sand patterns so chose to record with the digital camera instead of wasting film.

The sand looks like mud, it's wonderful. The beautiful post-apocalyptic.

What? You forgot your photographers rake?

it wouldda taken a photographer's gas-powered fan to blow the sand back into riffles... you know riffles...

I once rented one of those fans... but for burning stumps so they would burn hot and not put out smoke to blow to south Seattle... hey, I'm home. you missed it... three months away... you probably wouldda wimped out when there was no meat or naked ladies involved...

Riffles have rudges?

I haven't eaten meat since 98. (Excluding an occasional fish)

Things are kinda all blown to hell at home.

ugh... fish... I heard that they swim in water that fish s--t in... and other things....

seriously... if I were to eat meat again, I would start with deep ocean fish like salmon and halibut... but with what I know about the radioactive and mercury discharges over many years from Hanford, it would have to be Alaska or Canadian Salmon... (probably would only hurt my psyche)

'hope hell is a transient term for you...

Yeah... it's mostly Alaskan Salmon... and the occasional Mountain Lake Trout that I caught myself.

We'll see how long hell lasts...
